A Peterborough LDV van specialist has supplied four new minibuses to one of the city’s leading industrial recruitment agencies.
Ford and Slater of Peterborough, based on Newark Road, has delivered four 17-seat MAXUS minibuses to One Call Recruitment Ltd. The new minibuses will strengthen the company’s employee taxi service reducing the need for staff to use their own vehicles. The minibuses boost One Call’s fleet of employee transport service vehicles to 10.
One Call Recruitment is an independent industrial recruitment agency, providing temporary staff for companies across East Anglia and the Midlands. Established in 1998, the agency specialises in the industrial industry providing machine operators, production workers and warehouse personnel.
One Call Recruitment’s director, Andrew Chittock, said the new minibuses would help the firm meet an upsurge in business: “We operate a door to door fleet of employee transport vehicles, reducing the need for our workforce to use their own vehicles and helping to cut carbon emissions at the same time.
“We transport around 400 employees each day, so it’s essential for our business success that we use a vehicle that is reliable and robust.”
Ian Joyce, Ford and Salter’s franchise manager added: “The MAXUS 17-seat minibus was only launched last year, but is already making its mark on the market.”
