LDV REWARDS SALES EXCELLENCE

An LDV van sales specialist is celebrating after winning an award for his improving sales techniques.

Brett Sayce of Commercials Motors in Newport has been recognised by LDV’s recently launched Maximum Conversion sales training programme. The skilled van specialist was awarded a Tom Tom for his achievements.

The training programme is a continuous sales improvement initiative which is dedicated to improving selling skills, challenging existing sales techniques and delivering on and exceeding customers’ expectations.

LDV, which is now part of the GAZ Group, is determined to grow its UK customer base. As part of this growth strategy, the van maker is ensuring that its dealer network provides customers with excellent service in all areas.

The Maximum Conversion programme is run by PHP Limited, which has over 300 clients and delivers mentoring, coaching and training programmes nationally. PHP has worked alongside LDV as a training partner for the last two years. Simon Brocklehurst, dealer business manager at LDV, said that Brett Sayce was being recognised for putting the sales training into action: “The training programme is designed to be taken back to the dealership and put straight into action.

“Often, sales people will use the same techniques continuously. The aim of these training programmes is to challenge techniques and introduce a different way of working. Brett has adopted these new techniques and it’s now paying dividends for his dealership, for LDV and for his customers.”

Speaking of his award, Brett said:

“It’s never too late to learn new skills and I’m determined to take what I’m learning back to the dealership to improve my daily work.”
